1 DEPART USA - ARRIVE MONTREAL (2 NIGHTS)
You will be met at the airport by your tour manager/guide
where we will board our own private coach and transfer to
our hotel in Montreal. After being checked in we will have
dinner tonight in the downtown area.
DAY
2 MONTREAL
After breakfast our touring begins with a Guided City
Tour of Montreal, including such famous sights as
Old Montreal and Jacques-Cartier Market Place.
We will also see City Hall and its
famous balcony, the Old Port, Ste-Catherine Street
& the Underground City, China
Town, Mount Royal Park, St. Denis
Street, the Quartier Latin and much more. We
continue on to Notre Dame Basilica, the most
famous church in Montreal and one of the most beautiful in
North America. Built between 1823 and 1829, this gothic revival
church is renowned for its exquisite interior. It also houses
the largest pipe organ in North America. This afternoon we
visit the unique Biodome and Montreal’s
botanical garden which ranks as one of the world's largest
and most spectacular botanical gardens. During every season
visitors to the Montréal Botanical Garden
are sure to be captivated by the colors and fragrances from
around the world as they wander from the delightful Chinese
Garden to the heart of the Sonoran desert, from the peaceful
oasis of the Japanese Garden to the classically designed French
garden or the woodlands of the Laurentians.

DAY
3 MONTREAL - ST-ALEXIS-DES-MONTS (1 NIGHT)
After breakfast this morning we will have leisure
time in Montreal for exploring and shopping. Our lunch today
will be Smoked-Meat, one of Montreal’s
specialties. This afternoon we travel to St-Alexis-des-Monts
for a first contact with Quebec’s beautiful nature.
This evening we will have time at leisure to enjoy the amenities
at our fabulous hotel: private sandy beach, canoes, kayaks,
hiking trails, whirlpool or simply relax on the beautiful
terrace. (Hotel subject to availability)

DAY
4 ST-ALEXIS-DES-MONTS - LA TUQUE - ROBERVAL
(2 NIGHTS)
We leave St-Alexis-des-Monts early this morning
and drive through the land of the lumberjacks along the St-Maurice
River where our first stop will be in La Tuque,
a small town that was established as a trading post during
the French period. Next we will continue on to the Saguenay-Lac
Saint-Jean region, which is well known for its distinct geographical
features. It has an immense fjord and the large Lake-Saint-Jean,
which was originally carved out by glaciers many years ago.
With a river so wide it could be a lake, a lake so immense
it could be an inland sea, and a majestic fjord, the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean
region abounds in attractions and breathtaking panoramic views.
DAY
5 ROBERVAL
This morning we visit the Zoological Garden
in St-Félicien, where visitors have a unique location
for learning about and enjoying the unique ecosystem there.
After lunch we will visit the First Nation Cultural
Museum in Mashteuiatsh dedicated to the indigenous
people of the area. We continue on the Fur Trade Museum
where we will learn of the history and importance of the fur
trade to Canadian History.
DAY
6 ROBERVAL - STE-ROSE-DU-NORD - LA MALBAIE
(1 NIGHT)
Leaving Roberval this morning we take a drive along
the Fjord of the Saguenay River and stop in Sainte-Rose-du-Nord,
a small village considered to be one of the prettiest
in the Province of Quebec. This afternoon we take a Whale-watching
Boat Cruise on the St. Lawrence River. Later we continue
on to our hotel in La Malbaie.
DAY
7 LAMALBAIE - BAIE-ST-PAUL - QUEBEC (2 NIGHTS)
This morning we leave Lamalbaie and travel along the panoramic
road to Baie-St-Paul. This part of the journey offers unforgettable
vistas of the St. Lawrence and the rolling hills of the Laurentian
Mountains. We will have time at leisure to visit this quaint
village filled with boutiques and art galleries. After lunch
we will visit the Basilica Sainte-Anne de Beaupré.
The Basilica in itself is a wonderful treasure to see. There
are spectacular stained glass windows and excellent statues
of religious figures here as well. We continue on with a stop
at Montmorency Waterfalls. The waterfall
is 83 meters high, larger than Niagara Falls. In winter the
water freezes and the falls become a giant icicle. We continue
on to our hotel in Quebec for the night.
DAY
8 QUEBEC
Our morning begins with a Guided City Tour of Quebec,
the only fortified city in North America. The tour includes
such sites as Chateau Frontenac, the Dufferin
terrace, the battlefields, Place
Royale, Quartier Petit- Champlain, Parliament Hill, the Citadel
and much more. Lunch will be at the revolving restaurant
l'Astral offering amazing views of Quebec City and
its surroundings. Leisure time will be allowed to discover
this charming city at your own pace or simply relax on the
terrace of one of the many street cafes. Tonight we will have
a farewell dinner in the nice Quebec City suburb of Sillery.

DAY
9 DEPARTURE FROM MONTREAL
Our rewarding and enjoyable experience will come to an end
as your tour manager/guide escorts you to the airport in Montreal
for your return flight home.
