DAY
3 VIENNA - FIRST CONCERT
We will start today by taking a Walking Tour, which will
take us to St. Stephen’s Cathedral, one of the
greatest Gothic structures in Europe, rich in woodcarvings,
altars, sculptures, and paintings. We continue our day at
City Park, where we can see the various monuments
commemorating the Great Composers of the past. We will
continue to the House of Music, a unique and
wonderful museum that is solely dedicated to music.
We will be invited to
hear, see and feel music. Unexpected experiences of sound
inside larger than life instruments await us, as well as the
opportunity to take hold of the baton and conduct the Vienna
Philharmonic, or to compose our own melody.

4 VIENNA - PRAGUE (2 NIGHTS)
As we leave Vienna, we will capture the city by admiring the
impressive view from the Belvedere. We travel to
Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic built on seven
hills astride the great Vltava River. The beauty of Prague
is legendary; Goethe described the city as “the most
precious stone in the crown of this world.” On our
Walking Tour we will step back in time to explore the
tangle of quaint narrow streets surrounding the castle. We
cross the ancient Charles Bridge to arrive at the Old
Town Square and view the historic Town Hall, the famous
astronomical clock and the 14th century Tyn Church.
DAY
5 PRAGUE - SECOND CONCERT
Our City Tour will take us through Wenceslas Square,
where the great demonstrations organized by the civic forum
movement brought down the Communist Government in late
1989. We continue to the Gothic Gunpowder Tower, Count
Wallenstein’s Palace and National Theatre before visiting
Hradcany Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral. Subject
to timing, we will visit the Smetana Museum which
illustrates the life and work of the famous Czech composer.

three nights. On arrival, your guide will be pleased to take
you on an introductory tour of the area.
DAY
7 BERLIN -
THIRD CONCERT
No single event was more symbolic of the dramatic changes in
Eastern Europe than the dismantlement of the Berlin Wall
that began in late 1989. The reunification of this divided
city gave an unstoppable impetus to the waves of freedom
that have transformed the political landscape throughout
Eastern Europe. Our day starts with a Walking Tour
of the city and as we follow the route of the Berlin Wall,
we will see numerous crosses and wreaths to remind us of the
tragedies that occurred along this barrier after it was
built in 1961. We will visit the Brandenburg Gate
and view the Reichstag, which was so instrumental in
Hitler’s rise to power. We will visit the Wall Museum
before passing into former East Berlin to experience the
changes taking place in this previously austere section of
the city. We will view many magnificent 18th and 19th
century buildings as we walk along the Unter den Linden.
