St
Lucia is the type of island people dream of visiting,
from it's dramatic
twin coastal peaks that enclose enchanting wildlife
and majestic waterfalls
to the cultural treasures that allow you to discover
the past of St Lucia.
St Lucian's are known for being welcoming and hospitable
and we are sure
that your sports competitors are waiting to share their
paradise with you.
Day
One – Depart U.K, Arrive St Lucia
Today you will depart from the U.K. to catch your flight
to St Lucia. When you arrive in St Lucia you will be
met and transferred to your hotel.
Day
Two – Tout Bagay
Tout Bagay means a little bit of everything in St Lucia’s
Creole language. Relax on our spacious catamaran as
we cruise down the coast line. Our guides will point
out areas of interest along the way. Capture on film
the famous Pitons as they rise majestically out of sea
and visit the bubbling Drive – in – Volcano
as you learn how our island was formed. Experience a
natural waterfall as it cascades down from the rain
forest. Relive the tradition and culture of an 18th
century working plantation. See how cocoa and coffee
are made and enjoy our delicious buffet lunch. Top it
all off with a swim or relax in the sun at one of St
Lucia’s protected bays. Keep your cameras handy
for a perfect photo opportunity as you sail through
picturesque Marigot Bay. Then brush up on your dance
steps with our guides and crew as they teach you the
latest island steps.
Day
Three – First Match
This morning you will have a training session
before you play your first match of the tour later on
this afternoon.
Day
Four – East of Eden
Today you will journey down to beautiful Mabouya Valley,
explore fasinating ruins of an old sugar plantation
in Fond d’ or Nature Reserve. Marvel at Wild Atlantic
with fabulous views of the windswept coastline and the
magical, mystical Mabouya Man. The Errard Estate is
right next door to a former spice estate, full of fragrant
Nutmeg and abundant cocoa trees. The plantation house
built in 1903 is a fine example of late Victorian architecture.
The estate manager welcomes you for a freshing fruit
juice and entertains you with stories of times gone
by. Then it is off into the lush underground of the
surrounding secondary rainforest for a short nature
walk. After your walk, you’re ready for a home
cooked and superb lunch, buffet style at the estate
house. After lunch we head off to beautiful Errad Waterfall
for a dip (weather permitting) in the silvery mountain
cascade.
Day
Five – Catamaran Cruise + Second Match
After breakfast you will have a 4 hour catamaran cruise,
where you will leave Rodney Bay, visit Marigot Bay and
be able to swim at Anse Cochon before returning to Rodney
Bay.
Later this afternoon you will play your second
match of the tour.
Day
Six – Semi Submarine Cruise + Third Match
This morning you will have a Semi Submarine Cruise.
A true sailing aquarium, its transparent hull puts you
in direct contact with the underwater world. Below the
sea level, the viewing compartment, which is air conditioned,
reveals through 10 large windows, the magnificent spectacle
of the marine world.
Later this afternoon you will play your third
match of the tour.
Day
Seven – St Lucia Land Rover Experience
Today you will experience St Lucia from a unique perspective
and enjoy an exciting ride to the island’s interior
in an open-topped Land Rover 4x4. Hike through wild
bush to a natural waterfall. Following both main roads
and rough tracks, you’ll get the chance to see
most fascinating aspects of St Lucia. Climbing out of
Castries, the panoramic view of the harbour and north
to Pigeon Point is breathtaking. You’ll pass through
St Lucia’s largest banana plantation, see the
highest mountain in St Lucia (weather permitting) and
visit the quint essential Caribbean farming and fishing
villages. Hiking
through tropical bush and along a riverbank, you’ll
arrive at an exquisite waterfall. Although we don’t
swim in the actual falls, we do stop for a refreshing
dip in a rock pool lower down the river.
Day
Eight – Depart St Lucia, Arrive U.K.
This morning you will have chance to do some last minute
souvenir shopping before you get transferred to the
airport to catch your return flight back to the U.K.
