HEALTH AND SAFETY

Casterbridge Tours are committed to the Health, Safety and Welfare of all tour participants and will strive to assist the Group Leader to comply with their responsibilities with regard to risk assessments and other health and safety requirements.

TRANSPORTATION

Coaches:

Casterbridge Tours possesses copies of the operating licences, vehicle and employers liability documentation of British registered coach companies. EU driver’s regulations are noted during the itinerary construction. The coach seat belt regulation only applies within United Kingdom.

Air, Rail & Sea:

These types of transportation should comply with the relative MCA, CAA or local enforcing agency’s requirements.

ACCOMMODATION

Casterbridge Tours require all properties to hold current operating licences and conform to local regulations.

GUIDES

If the services of a Casterbridge Guide is included as an enhancement of your tour, health and safety advice will be given by the guide, as necessary, to assist the Group Leader in carrying out their responsibilities.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

Casterbridge Tours will make an emergency 24 hour contact number available to the Group Leader for use when on tour. In the unlikely event of a serious incident, Casterbridge Tours will implement their tour emergency procedure.
