This excellent 7-night itinerary covers most everything you would want to see in western and central Cuba to get a flavour and appreciation of the island's history, culture, wildlife and geography.

DAY 1 DEPART UK – ARRIVE HAVANA
Fly from the UK to Havana. Arrival in Havana airport, transfer to Hotel Vedado by bus for overnight.

DAY 2 HAVANA
In the morning sightseeing in Havana. The panoramic bus tour takes you through Vedado and Miramar districts and stops off at Plaza de la Revolucion for a photo stop. Next we will continue to Capitolio for a cigar factory visit, then a walking tour of Havana, we will then visit the 4 main squares in Old Havana - Plaza Vieja, Plaza de la Cathedral, Plaza San Francisco & Plaza de Armas. Lunch will be at the Old Havana. In the afternoon we will have time to visit handicrafts market in the Old Havana before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

DAY 3 VINALES VALLEY
Today will be a full day excursion to Vinales Valley. At the valley we shall visit another cigar factory, local tobacco farm and have lunch in the valley. In the afternoon we will visit Cueva de los Indios before returning to Havana for an overnight stay.

DAY 4 GUAMA
In the morning we shall depart for Guama for a visit to the Crocodile farm. After visit, continue travelling into the Cienaga de Zapata for lunch at Cueva de los Peces with a chance to swim in beautiful Cenote or on the coast of the Bay of Pigs. After lunch continue on to Playa Giron for a visit to the small museum commemorating the US invasion in April 1961. From there travel to Cienfuegos for overnight. Hotel Jagua or similar.

DAY 5 CIENFUEGOS
After breakfast we will visit the Cienfuegos including Aquarium with option to swim with the dolphins. Afterwards we continue on to La Vega for typical Cuban country lunch. There will be the chance to swim in the Caribbean (Ancon Beach) before checking into hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 6 TRINIDAD
Today we will be sightseeing in Trinidad including Valle de los Ingenios, and a Romantic Museum and tour by foot of the city centre. The afternoon will be free to relax at the beach or shopping around the city centre. In the evening we shall return to the hotel for an overnight stay and dinner.

DAY 7 SANTA CLARA
Early in the morning depart for Santa Clara for a visit to Che Mausoleum. Lunch will be at Santa Clara then continue on to Havana for an overnight stay.

DAY 8 / 9 DEPART CUBA - ARRIVE BACK IN UK
Transfer to airport for departure. Arrive back in London the next day.
