DAY
1/2 DEPART UK TO AUCKLAND
Early morning departure to Auckland and arrive in
Auckland the next day, connect to Christchurch.
DAY 3 ARRIVE CHRISTCHURCH
After clearing customs and meeting your driver and
tour guide we head over to the Antarctic Centre followed
by a drive out to Banks Peninsula. This evening we
go through the exciting days ahead itinerary.
DAY 4 CHRISTCHURCH -
MOUNT COOK
Today we leave Christchurch and head inland to the
famous Mount Cook region where we take a guided Tasman
Glacier Walk. In the evening we spend the night beneath
New Zealand’s highest mountain.
DAY 5 MOUNT COOK - TE ANAU
Today we view Mount Cook and Hooker Glacier today
before traveling on to Te Anau. On route we stop and
look at the Glentanner Sheep Station along the way.
DAY 6 TE ANAU –
MILFORD SOUND – TE ANAU
Today we have a full day ahead with a scenic drive
out to Milford followed by a Cruise through the magnificent
Milford Sound.
DAY 7 TE ANAU - QUEENSTOWN
Welcome to the adventure capital of New Zealand. On
arrival we will take the Skyline Gondola Ride up Bob’s
peak to check out the incredible view of Lake Wakatipu
and the Remarkable Mountain Ranges. This afternoon
is free to explore and shop around the capital.
DAY 8 QUEENSTOWN –
FREE DAY
Today is free explore and shop around the city. Why
not try Jet Boating, White Water Rafting, Horse Riding,
Skydiving, Parapenting, Canyoning, Mountain Biking
or River Surfing.
DAY 9 QUEENSTOWN TO
FRANZ JOSEF GLACIER
Today we leave the capital of New Zealand behind and
head to the rugged West Coast and Glacier country.
DAY 10 FRANZ JOSEF -
NELSON
Start the day early with a guided glacier walk, and
then travel up the west coast via Punakaiki (Pancake
Rocks) to Nelson.
DAY 11 NELSON –
PICTON – WELLINGTON
An early start again with a spectacular ferry crossing
from the South Island to the North Island through
the picturesque Marlborough Sounds. This afternoon
you will have a chance to visit the Museum of New
Zealand – TE PAPA.
DAY 12 WELLINGTON –
MOUNT RUAPEHU
For those who are keen there is time this morning
for another visit to Te Papa before we leave the city
behind. Next we head to the central North Island’s
volcanic region.
DAY 13 MOUNT RUAPEHU
- ROTORUA
This morning we have a guided walk in Tongariro National
Park before heading over to New Zealand’s most
‘active’ city Rotorua.
DAY 14 ROTORUA –
ALL DAY
This will be an action packed day with a visit to
Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve, followed by a visit
to Rainbow Springs and the Buried Village. Tonight
is a chance to taste traditional Maori hospitality
with a Maori Hangi & Concert.
DAY 15 ROTORUA –
WAITOMO CAVES - AUCKLAND
Today we head to Waitomo and take an underground caving
tour before we make our way to Auckland Airport to
catch the flight back to the UK.

16 ARRIVE LONDON
An early morning arrival in the UK from and overnight
flight.
