ur tour
of England and Ireland was one of my best travelling experiences.
I had a great time and I am going home with unforgettable memories.
The trip was both a lot of fun and extremely educational."
"Our
time in France and Spain was both enjoyable and memorable. Sarah,
our tour guide, showed us many places. Not only were we introduced
to the sights, sounds and people of Paris and Madrid, but also to
a wonderful tour guide who became our friend. We will all miss her."
"I
am glad our Group Leader decided to go with Casterbridge Tours.
It was great to have admissions paid to so many sites. There was
enough time to see everything and the number of events planned was
perfect."
Please read
on below for comments from two different perspectives (the Group
Leader and a parent) about one of the many highly successful tours
that Casterbridge operated recently for a student group.
From the Group Leader:
Dear Casterbridge Staff:
I wanted
to write a note of thanks to you for making our tour such a success.
Mike Smith, our guide, was wonderful and I hope will be able to
have him guide for us again. I am already talking about another
tour next year to England and many of the students are excited
and want to go. The students really enjoyed and were moved by
going to the battlefields, walking through bunkers, cemeteries
and finally Dachau. Every student took something different away
with them from the tour and started to gain a greater world view.
They did not realize Europeans were different from Americans.
I think it was a good wake up call for them as they lead a fairly
sheltered existence in school.
I also want to thank Sue and the others who had great patience
with one who never organized an "expedition" like this. Next year
should prove to be even smoother sailing for all.
Please tell Mike Smith "Thank You" from the parents and students
of Rumsey Hall. He was a personable, organized and knowledgeable
guide. He took much of the pressure off me, which helped me enjoy
our tour...
