is in the heart of the great South American civilizations,
including the Mochica, Inca and later the Spanish colonies.
Casterbridge Tours offers unique cultural-based programs
encompassing the Mestiza tradition, which encapsulates
different races, cultures, art and music, and is charged
with mysticism and color. We offer tours that allow the
students to use all of their senses, whether viewing
the colonial architecture in Lima and Cusco; smelling
a Watia Lunch (underground oven) being prepared
for the group; listening to a Demonstration on the
Ancient Farming Practices of the Inca; participating
in a Ritual Demonstration; or tasting the meal
prepared during the group's Cooking Classes. |
