# 43 AGRIGENTO'S VALLEY OF THE TEMPLES, SICILY
Agrigento, in the southern portion of the Island of Sicily, is an outdoor museum for ancient buildings. We provide a specialist-guided tour of the ruins in the Valley of the Temples which straddle a low ridge to the south of Agrigento. The tour includes: the Temple of Juno, the Temple of Concord, the Temple of Hercules and the so-called Temple of Castor and Pollux. A visit to the Regional Archaeological Museum can also be included.

Pisa was one of the most important cities in medieval Italy and a bastion of fantastic art and architecture. The highlight of a visit to Pisa is the breathtaking Piazza del Duomo, known in Italian as the "Field of Miracles" for the beautiful ensemble of the Cathedral, Baptistery and the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. Despite its sinking foundations, the tower stands as magnificently today as it did upon its completion in 1350.
# 49 THE ART IN THE ACCADEMIA & UFFIZI GALLERIES, FLORENCE
Florence is known as the "Cradle of the Reniassance" as it was a city that cherished, celebrated and encouraged the arts. The treasures of the period can be found in two marvelous galleries in Florence: the Accademia Gallery, with Michelangelo's sculptural masterpiece, David; and the Uffizi Gallery, with one of the most impressive collections of Renaissance painting in the world with works by Leonardo, Botticelli and Raphael.
# 50 ST. MARK'S BASILICA & THE DOGE'S PALACE, VENICE
Any visit to Venice should include St. Mark's Basilica featuring interior walls encrusted with stunning gold mosaics. Our tour includes the Galleries to see the original bronze horses which once adorned the facade. Next door is the Doge's Palace, residence of the rulers of the Serenissima Republic, with ornate, grandiose rooms and Tintoretto's Paradise, said to be the world's largest oil painting.

Milan is Italy's second largest city and an important city historically and culturally. In the heart of the city, next to the modern and impressive fashion district, stands the the unique and beautiful Gothic Duomo. The cathedral is easily recognizable due to its extraordinary roof with 135 spires and innumerable statues and gargoyles.
