All Casterbridge tours are accompanied either by one of our experienced tour escorts or by a representative of our local agent in resort. Our own tour escorts have all been trained specifically by Casterbridge to take care of the special requirements of a music ensemble on tour and they would accompany your group exclusively and full-time throughout your tour. It is our recommendation that all groups travel with a full-time guide as our experience shows that this allows group leaders the freedom to take care of the musical aspects of the tour unhindered. However, in some resorts such as Barcelona, you would be assisted by a representative of our local agent who has first-hand experience of looking after a music group in their particular destination. These local representatives are extremely knowledgeable and can help your tour run smoothly but they are not exclusive to your group while in resort nor do they accompany you full-time throughout the tour but instead drop in and out of your tour according to the requirements of your itinerary.

Regardless of your destination, all our guides and local representatives offer an extremely high quality service to our groups. Many of our local representatives are owner-managers of local agencies with whose assistance we have arranged your concerts and therefore, they have detailed knowledge of your requirements and itinerary as they will have been working with us on your tour arrangements for several months prior to your arrival in your chosen destination. Given the high standard of care these guides and representatives offer to your group, we believe their assistance is invaluable in ensuring that your tour runs smoothly and we will ask your group to treat them with the respect warranted by their care and attention in looking after your group on tour.

If you would prefer to travel without a Casterbridge tour guide, we recommend that you have at least one group member who is able to speak the language in your chosen destination. Whilst many tourist attractions in Europe today are able to offer instructions in English, you may be visiting a concert venue in a more remote area where English is not widely spoken.
