DAY    1            DEPARTURE FROM ATLANTA
Enjoy full meal service on your scheduled wide-bodied flight to Paris.

DAY    2            ARRIVE PARIS (2 NIGHTS)
You will be met at the airport by your tour manager/guide, board your own private coach and be transferred to our hotel in Paris. Our touring begins as we stroll along the Champs Elysées, Paris’ most spectacular thoroughfare, which offers a beautiful look at Parisian life and architecture before ascending the Eiffel Tower for a breathtaking view over the City of Lights. This evening (time permitting) we will visit the Church of Sacre Coeur.

DAY    3            VERSAILLES & PARIS - FIRST CONCERT
This morning we visit the Cathedral of Notre Dame, begun in 1163 on a spot that had already been a religious shrine since Roman times.  Over the centuries, the Cathedral has been the scene of some of France's most momentous occasions, including the coronation of Napoleon. Later we stroll through the Jardin des Tuileries, the beautiful Neo-Classical gardens that lead to the entrance of the Louvre, one of the world's greatest museums, which began as a fortress in the 1200’s and was built up over the centuries into one of Europe’s largest palaces.  Among the most loved of the Louvre's estimated 400,000 items are the delicate Venus De Milo and Leonardo da Vinci's enigmatic Mona Lisa.

·        Your First Concert Performance will be today.

DAY    4            PARIS - TGV - NICE AREA (3 NIGHTS)
Today after a leisurely start to our morning we depart from Paris Gare de Lyon and travel by train to Nice on the Mediterranean coast of France.

DAY    5            NICE
This morning we will begin our sightseeing with a stroll along the Promenade des Anglais, which encompasses the Bay of Angels.  Our morning will also include an ascent to Le Chateau, where we will view the ruins of the earliest settlements in the Nice area, and an Old Town Walking Tour.  The Old Town is nestled at the foot of Castle Hill, and exudes a lively and utterly Mediterranean character.

DAY    6            DAY TRIP TO MONTE CARLO AND EZE
Today we will take the spectacular Grande Corniche drive to La Turbie, with its famous Roman relic, the Treaty of Augustus.  We will continue to the Principality of Monaco, a sovereign state covering less than a square mile.  Monte Carlo is Europe's gambling capital and is famed for the luxurious casino, sumptuous villas and Prince Rainier's Pink Palace. We will visit the beautiful Cathedral of Monaco, where Princess Grace is buried, before returning to Nice via the equally spectacular Moyenne Corniche.  During our day we will include a stop at the medieval village of Eze.

DAY    7            NICE AREA - CANNES - AIX-EN-PROVENCE (2 NIGHTS)
We will make a leisurely drive through a series of splendid resorts on the French Riviera as we make our way to Cannes, the elegant playground of the rich and famous.  We will journey west to Aix-en-Provence, the ancient watering place for the Roman legions. We will take a stroll along the Cours Mirabeau, a particularly stately looking thoroughfare, with lovely shops, sidewalk cafes, and richly embellished sandstone mansions from the 17th and 18th centuries.

DAY    8            AVIGNON AND AIGUES MORTES - SECOND CONCERT

This morning we will travel Avignon, a medieval city surrounded by over 3 miles of walls and punctuated by 39 towers and 7 gates and known today as a lively center of art and culture.  We will visit the spectacular Palais des Papes a series of buildings, which offer a glimpse into the grand life under the seven Popes who built a miniature Vatican in Avignon during their rule (1309-1377).  This afternoon we continue on to the magnificent town of Aigues-Mortes, a perfectly preserved walled town, established by Louis XI in the 13th century as a sign of his great power and fortitude. We will explore the spectacular town, including an ascent of the Tour de Constance, where we will walk along the rectangular walls, and enjoy superb views over the Camargue.

 ·        Your Second Concert Performance will be today.

DAY    9             DEPARTURE FROM MARSEILLE
